Sales Representative

Motion Meetings • Ontario, Remote • Start: March/April 2026

Join as a founding sales team member and help build our revenue engine from scratch. You’ll own the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing in a zero-brand-recognition environment.

The Opportunity

This is a 100% hands-on revenue role where you generate pipeline, run discovery and demos, and close deals with labor unions and democratic organizations. You’ll work closely with the CEO and help shape our go-to-market based on what you learn in the field.

What You’ll Do

Hunt & generate pipeline (60%): Build prospect lists, execute outbound (email/phone/LinkedIn), and keep 50–60 active opportunities moving.
Close deals (15%): Run the full sales cycle (discovery → demo → proposal → negotiation → close). Target $50K+ ARR in your first 6 months.
Shape strategy (25%): Identify what converts, share learnings with leadership, track pipeline in HubSpot, and collect market feedback.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years B2B sales with strong outbound pipeline generation
  • 2+ years SaaS/software sales with quota achievement
  • Hunter mentality + comfort selling with low brand recognition
  • HubSpot (or similar CRM) proficiency for forecasting + pipeline hygiene
  • Comfortable navigating complex sales and committee-based decision processes

Compensation & Benefits

Base: $50,000–$60,000+ CAD
Commission: 10% of ARR (guaranteed 3 years)
Equity: Up to 0.35% ESOP (4-year vest, 1-year cliff)

The Opportunity

You’ll drive ARR growth in 2026 and build the revenue function. Initially, you’ll be 100% hands-on (lead gen, demos, closing). As revenue permits, you’ll transition toward leadership: systems, hiring, and partnering with the CEO on larger deals.

What You’ll Do

Build pipeline (40%): Generate 50–75 qualified leads/month through events, partnerships, content, and direct outreach.
Close deals (35%): Run full sales cycle and grow average deal size over time.
Scale & lead (25% later): Build the playbook, recruit the first AEs, and develop partner channels.

What You Bring

  • 5–7+ years B2B SaaS sales in early/growth-stage companies
  • Track record of meeting/exceeding $500K+ annual quota
  • Full-cycle seller: prospecting → demo → negotiate → close
  • HubSpot expertise: pipeline, forecasting, reporting
  • Analytical mindset: CAC/LTV, conversion rates, accurate forecasting

Compensation & Benefits

Commission: Base salary, 15% of new ARR (no caps)
Equity: 0.5%–1.5% ESOP (4-year vest, 1-year cliff)
